I've learned a lot about Rick this past week, being off work and with him being sick. I've learned he has a schedule. And I've learned that I best not get him off of it.
For instance... at 8:00 the Today Show is on. At 9:00, it's Regis and Kelly. And 10:00? The View.
He makes his coffee at 8:20 and lets the dog out at precisely 8:30. Cat gets fed at 8:45. And uh, these times are not really precise though, because it has to coincide with commercial breaks. But the deviation is usally no more than 30 seconds or so.
I messed up his schedule today by asking him to go out to breakfast with me. I don't know if he'll ever recover. At least not from his morning routine. He was able to get back down to business, in the afternoon, though... once Perry Mason got underway.
One load of laundry got done during Matlock and that pretty much wore Rick out for the day. By then he was spent and ready for dinner and, by the way, what time was I cooking it?
Sigh.
Rick is so predictable. Why can't he be more like me? I'm not predictable at all... unless American Idol, The Bachelor and Dancing With The Stars are on. Then he can just cook dinner for me!!
Unless McHale's Navy is on...
