My favorite stage play...

...has come to Dallas. I have been in love with this play ever since I first saw it when I was about 19. It was very innovative back then. It was risque. And it was right in line with what I wanted to do with my life.

I never did.

However, I did work on a professional version of this play. I was the "property mistress" and got to work with several of the original Broadway cast members. I handed them their hats and canes. I was in heaven.

This show has just arrived in Dallas and I had to see it one more time. It did not shock me this time. The subject matter is no longer unusual and provocative. The subject matter is commonplace now. Probably not even rated 'R' anymore.

I still love it. There is just something very magical about these dancers who have big dreams.
