Update

Thought I'd give y'all an update on our new house...

... there is none. Nope. No update.

We are sitting ducks here. Our current house is sold and due to be removed out from under us on July 23rd. Yes, it's still a ways away... like 4 weeks or so. But we are still not in our new house. Nope, we aren't. And we don't even have a possible "get in" date. Sometime within the next 4 weeks we will lose one house and not have another to go to. Sigh.

In the meantime, we are living like kings and queens. Pure glamour here. Yes, the lifestyle of the rich and famous.

I try to prepare dinner and head to a cabinet to get the plates and then see that I've packed them. We then eat on paper plates...

I go to the silverware drawer and find two measily little forks there. There are three of us. One of us gets to eat with their hands.

After dinner, I try to save what we didn't eat and I head to the Tupperware cabinet and find one blue lid. No container. Just a lid.

Pickin's are slim here in the Kahle house. Everything is boxed up and ready to go to a house we don't have. On a date that isn't set. In a moving truck I haven't rented.

Yawn... think I'll just go back to bed. If it isn't packed... which is isn't. But it is missing a few sheets and pillow cases. Maybe I'll nap on the couch. If I could just get that cat off of it.

Hey, maybe I can sleep in the cat's bed. Fleas aren't a bad thing, are they?
