A little bit of tension, a little bit of worry ...

Not really wantin' to smile for my camera.  Because he was about to be really stressin'...

But... he got through it.  He had his stress test, that long-awaited stress test that caused the surgery to be held up.  It's finally over.

And looky!

He got those danged shoes on his feet all by himself.  Yes, he did.  So... he can cook dinner from now on.  Since that's the only requirement that I can see.

I, however, am going barefoot for the rest of my life.

Wanna know the outcome?  He passed.  He was very proud of himself.  He's had four stress tests before and he's passed every single one of them with flying colors and even though I knew he would pass this one, too, there's still always a hint of doubt and worry.  So naturally, we are all very happy about the A+ he received on this exam.

Surgery can go forward.  Surgery is still scheduled.  September 4th!  Rick is a very happy man.  And I'm more than thrilled that he can get his own dang shoes on now!
