so...

... my daughter arrives in Arizona and tweets this:

Arrived safe and sound.  A bright, beautiful 71 degrees in Phoenix and supposedly even more beautiful in Tucson.  Darn, forgot to pack my convertible.

My favorite post of hers, though, was this:

The good news is, I caught the bouquet.

The bad news is, I proposed to every guy at the wedding and no one accepted.  Not even Rachael's 6-year-old son.  I don't know why... my manicure matches my dress AND I can rap all of Eminem's Lose Yourself.  I'mma catch...  :)

And then she came home.  My baby girl came home and life got back to normal once again.

By the way, normal to us is Rick sitting in front of the TV with a remote glued to his hand, pretending not to notice anyone else in the room; Elizabeth sitting on the couch with a cat on her shoulder, scolding Rick for watching too much TV and scolding me for sitting at my computer too long; and me ... at the computer for a moment, watching the pumpkins muffins in the oven so they don't burn (they did anyway), clearing the dinner table (that only I ate at), unloading the dishwasher, reloading the dishwasher, putting away the groceries that I bought after work, wrapping a baby gift for a shower, wrapping a secret pal gift, loading the washing machine, unloading the dryer and sneaking in a game of Freecell and/or Blitz before bringing in the trash cans from the curb and sitting down to monitor my auctions on eBay.

My daughter only saw me playing Freecell and checking eBay.

Have I got a few tweets in mind about that!!!!
