I rarely have this day off but thanks to working in a school system, I have the next week and a 1/2 off. Heaven.
But what does December 26th mean? Lots.
It means turkey sandwiches and leftover stuffing. Not having to cook for a a few days because the fridge is SO full of food. It also means shopping. Bigtime shopping. And fighting. Fighting with other store patrons over that 1/2 price lawn ornament of Santa and his reindeer. And battling over that Christmas wrap... fighting to see who gets to purchase that wreath just to store it for a year. And I love picking up Christmas cards that I will not even use the following year because I will decide I want to do pictures instead.
Sounds like fun, eh?
I wouldn't miss it for the world.
Gotta run. There's a 70% off sale at Target.
