This was said at dinner last night:
"Lord, we thank you for this wonderful meal before us and for the hands that prepared it. May it nourish our bodies and give us strength. And Lord, we just praise your Holy Name for this beautiful day that you have given to us today. In Jesus' name we pray... Goodbye."
My head snapped up in disbelief.
"Rick? You going somewhere?"
"No, why?" - - pause - - "Oh, shoot. I mean't 'goodnight'."
5 minutes of giggling ensued.
(Rick, we're laughing with you, okay?)
