We made it... and Austin is everything everyone has told us it would be. Weird. In fact, it's so weird that it didn't even know it was supposed to be rainy... just because we were here. I'm unfamiliar with all of this sunshiny stuff.
We are about to head out bat hunting. Not sure I'm all too thrilled about this quest but I'm told I can't come home until I see a bat.
The reward is that I get to go shopping afterwards. There appears to be an abundance of outlet malls here.
Austin? Think Santa Barbara/Berkeley/Irvine/Santa Fe. All rolled into one. Only not as nice.
