We need your help!

My 18 year old daughter is about to go to Ecuador. On a mission trip. In June. And oh, is she excited about it!

This is her story:

My name is Elizabeth Courtney Kahle.

I am an 18-year-old high school graduate just embarking on a college career with a major in film and television production.

I love to smile, talk and laugh... which probably explains why I'm called outgoing, energetic and playful :) The most important thing to know about me, though, is that I have an utterly indescribable passion for God. I have a magnificent, "in love" relationship with my Creator and because of that, I wake up every morning excited to start my day as a child of God.

I am, after all, a princess.
I am the daughter of the King.

Matthew 5:16 is my life verse

And this is the official press release:

A dedicated mission team from Preston Ridge Baptist Church in Frisco, Texas will be partnering with e3 Partners Ministry to travel to Ibarra, Ecuador in June 2010. Once there, we will have the privilege of sharing the message of God's amazing grace with residents of Ecuador who have never heard it before.

We have been commissioned to work as soul-winners for the Kingdom of God!

This mission trip will cost each of its participants $2,150 in total. Therefore, your prayers and/or financial contributions are most encouraged. We welcome any form of support you feel called to give.

Thank you and God bless.

But despite her good intentions and enthusiasm, Elizabeth is still short in the funds department. And the time is growing nearer. If anyone feels led to donate, you may use the link above. And if money is tight, please join me in prayer for my daughter! This is a big, big endeavor for her... and for her family waiting at home!

I will be keeping you all updated, not only in the days leading up to the trip, but during her mission trip as well. We are all so proud of her!

Thanks!

Her beaming mom...
