Rick had a doctor's appointment today... and amazingly found his way back home. I tell you, that man never ceases to amaze me.
But just yesterday, he had me worried.
We had left our cardboard box haven to venture out to lunch and run a few errands. And when we headed back home I thought Rick was gonna have a stroke. Well, not literally. More like a cow. When I headed back towards our new home he looked confused.
"Where are you going?" he asked.
"Our new home."
"But we don't live there anymore."
* blink blink *
"I live there. I'm pretty sure you do, too."
"No, we don't."
This was getting fun...
And I continued on the path to our new home, knowing now what was going through his head.
"You are kidding, right?" I teased.
"Wait... you said we were going to our new home. But this is the way to our old home."
"So why are we on Plantation Lane?"
"Uh, Rick? This is the street we have to take to get to the new home. Remember, we only moved THREE BLOCKS AWAY!!!!"
* crickets *
* pause *
"Oh yeah, I remember now. We're on Moss Creek."
"Nope. We're on Creek Point Drive."
* pause *
"Any chance we can move back to Plantation Lane?"
