vacation?

Call me crazy, but I didn't know inanimate objects could take a vacation.  Is ebay an inanimate object?  I guess we'll know in 11 days.  I wonder where ebay is going.  I wonder if it bid on one of its own auctions.  I wonder if it won. 

I guess it did ... or else it wouldn't be going.  I guess.

What I'm really wondering is WHY it needs a vacation.  We're the ones doing all the work. 

I just don't get it.  How can ebay go on vacation and I can't.  'Tain't fair.

Of course, I do have three months off... and two trips planned in the duration.  But then I work hard.  On ebay.
