Home Sweet Home, Car Sweet Car

About a week ago, maybe two, I was overcome with the desire to have a new car.  I was through with my ol' Lexus and I wanted something that smelled new.  Oh that intoxicating smell of a new car.  I had to have it.  And I listed my cute little Lexus on Craig's List.  I cleaned her all up and removed all of my personal items, too.

And I got a few calls.  One nice gentleman came by and drove my baby.  He drove it real gently and he hinted that he might make an offer.  But he didn't.

A few more calls... and even two offers.  All way under what I needed to pay off my loan and buy my new car.

During the week, maybe two, I drove Rick's car so that I wouldn't put any more miles on mine.  I didn't want a speck of dirt to befall my clean little Lexus, either.  So she lived in our garage and only came out when Rick had to go somewhere.  And the Toyota Highlander accompanied me on all of my travels.

But yesterday, this mother hen was yearning for her baby.  I missed her so much.  I was SICK of driving Rick's car... after all, Rick's car doesn't have near the bells, whistles and toys that mine does.  And I was dearly missing my toys.

SO... my Lexus came out of hiding.  And Rick's Highlander went in.

Welcome home, Baby.

Wanna see it at night?  Good.  I like to look at her, too.

She missed me.  And I missed her.  And I immediately took her off of Craig's List.  She's mine for another few years...

And all is right with the world.

I am a new follower of your informative blog. In this winter, I visited USA and I found churches really do need sources of church loans in USA for getting the right lender for financing. They should be helped by church lenders' directory.
