Rick is loved, too

I had a few things to pick up at the grocery store tonight so I ran into Tom Thumb right after work.  Stop laughing.  I didn't name the store...

Once I had a full cart (I can never just go in for a few things) I headed to the check out line and finished up the escapade.  The cashier took my cash, made change and pulled my receipt from her little register slot and glanced at it.

"Thank you for coming, Mrs. Kahle.  You've saved $5.27."  That was nothing new... these cashiers always use our names.  It's the personal touch.

This was new, though...

"Kahle...  Kahle?"

"Yes... and thank you for pronouncing it correctly."  I always like to say that.  However this time I didn't get all those words out.

"Are you related to..."  And I knew where this was going.

"Yes.  He's my husband.  You know him?"

"Yep.  We love him here.  He's a hoot and a holler."

A hoot and a holler...  That's Rick.  Loved by all the cashiers in Tom Thumb.
