Remember the Olympics? Or are they just a distant memory now?
Either way, Rick was reflecting on Michael Phelps and his great accomplishment of passing Mark Spitz in the medal race for swimming. Spitz, with the undefeated accomplishment of winning seven gold medals was finally beat by Michael Phelps, winning eight.
And Rick is still impressed. Out of the blue, Rick asks:
"I wonder if Mark Spitz still wears Speedies..."
"What? What did you call them?"
"You know, Speedies."
After Liz and I stopped laughing, we explained that the name of the suit was not called a 'speedy.'
"Stevies?
