I received my school assignments this year and printed them all out on a list for Rick.

And I said… Here’s a list of the schools I’m at this year.

And then my schedule changed. Naturally.

And then I called Rick to tell him of the change. Because for some reason I thought he might understand. This is the actual conversation that took place:

So, where are you at on Fridays?

And where are you at on Thursdays?

Hicks

But it says you’re at Killian on Thursdays.

The schedule is wrong.

So where are you at on Thursdays?

Hicks.

Later that night…
So let’s go over your schedule. Where are you at on Thursdays?

Hicks.

But it says Killian.

But I told you it’s wrong.

Then Rick drew big back and forth arrows to show that the two schools have been swapped.

The next day…
So you’re at Killian on Thursdays?

Nope, Hicks.

But it says you’re at Killian.

But it’s wrong.

So where are you at on Thursdays?

What does the schedule say?

It says Killian.

And is the schedule wrong or right?

Wrong.

Therefore, where am I at on Thursdays?

I don’t know, I just asked you that.

KILLIAN!

Yesterday…
So where are you at on Thursdays?

I walked away.

Today…
Uh, Rick… Get your schedule.

Are you going to tell me where you’re at on Thursdays?

No, I’m going to tell you where I’m not on Tuesdays.

Huh?

Find Independence on the list. Find the word Tuesday. Cross it out and make it say Wednesday. Find Morningside on the list. Find the word Wednesday. Cross it out and make it say Tuesday.

Okay.

So where am I at on Tuesdays?

I don’t know, I’m still trying to figure out where you are on Thursdays...
