It's getting closer!

As we draw close to the Lupus Walkathon, look what Rick got notified of today!

Good afternoon Lupus Family,

This year marks our 5th Anniversary of the Walk for Lupus Now event. We will have our first ever LIVE Butterfly release ceremony prior to walk start. You have been selected to be one of the butterfly releasers. Please be on the stage at 9:30am to get your live butterfly. I will make an announcement as a reminder. 400 paper butterflies will also be handed out to as many people as possible. This is a very special release signifying those with lupus and those who have passed away as a result from the disease.

Thank you and congrats!!!

The butterfly is one of the Lupus symbols... standing for freedom from the disease.  The wolf signifies the wolf-like rash folks get on their face, but the butterfly is their symbol for being able to float away from it all, gracefully.

Rick will be proudly releasing his butterfly, I guarantee it.

And, of course, there's still time to donate to our cause.  Please feel free to donate... and to especially come out and walk with us!  The link is:

If you are asked to enter a name, you can enter either Kris Kahle or Rick Kahle.

Waitin' for Saturday and prayin' for sunshine!!
