Home for wayward birds...

Because you didn't believe that the ledge was only three inches wide... I decided to take a picture of the ledge.  Guess who's tail is hanging off the front?  Yep.  I told you it was a tiny little place the bird family moved into.  TINY.

Here's a closer shot of it.

Now that I think of it, it was kinda dumb to stand under mama bird.  At least at this angle.

Feeding time again...

Word has gotten out that the Kahle's Bed & Breakfast is open to all wayward birds.  We've got some more company!

Ya know... I ain't never seen a redbird before.  Before I got to Texas, I mean.  We just have plain ol' brown birds in California.

By the way, this bird family, I've researched, are actually "Mourning Doves."  Sadly, our house guests are due to be leaving us in about a week to a week and a half.  My research tells me that the birdlets will be fully grown by then.

Uh, seriously?  Remind me not to come back as a bird in my next life.  The childhood is just too short.
