a bit overdue

I've been reminded that I haven't wrapped up my adventures in Florida so that's my goal right now...  and I've decided not to go into great detail because, like, The Bachelor's on and you know, I just don't have that much time, you know.

So, via photos, here are the very most important moments of my trip, my quick little jaunt to Orlando...

First up:  a ride in Walt Disney's Magic Kingdom that my daughter was DYING to go on.  Disneyland in California doesn't have this magical ride anymore so my daughter had only heard about such a fabulous ride.  It was the first attraction we hit on Monday morning.

I haven't seen the People Mover in so very long, so I had to pose by it.

Can you tell what else we went on?

The ride that I relented to go on... and allowed for the song to get stuck in my head ALL DAY LONG... was Small World.

We were both shocked to see this sign posted at the end of the ride.  Not at all sure what it means... nor what language this was in... but hey.

I found this little cherub waiting for the parade to start.  Is she not the most perfect mouseketeer or what?

And this is a parade that we watched... that my daughter had only heard of.  I had no idea she had always wanted to see it.  And now she can say she has!

Even better than Disney World?  Look what I found in Orlando!!!  Oh, Sizzler how I've missed you!  Oh, Sizzler, what a very nice sight for sore eyes!

And here's the piece de resistance!   My favorite meal at Sizzler... MALIBU CHICKEN!  Oh, Malibu Chicken, how I've missed you!

Know what the very best part of my Florida jaunt was?

The Coach Outlet store.  Yep.  I bought one.  This little number.  'Cuz I needed it?  Yeah, that's it.  I desperately needed a new Coach purse.  Sure I did.

So that's it.  It was a whirlwind trip and I had a great time.  And I'd be going back to visit my daughter for Spring Break if it weren't so darned expensive.  Sigh.  If I can save the funds, we'll be going back in July.

I'm passing the hat next week.  Please don't hesitate to contribute to the Derby going by.  Seriously.  No, seriously.  No, really.

Don't make me sell my Coach purse...

;)
