So, just where will this surgery of Rick's take place?
Centennial Medical Center. I got to choose the hospital. No one has ever considered me in that decision before and I must say I like it. I chose one close to home and close to my work. Yea!
No, Kris. WHERE ON RICK will the surgery be?
Oh. Oops. Forgot that detail yesterday. It'll be back surgery. It seems that the root of all of his pain is in the form of a pinched spinal cord. Apparently the spinal cord feeds through the spinal column and Rick's spinal column has narrowed. And bone has grown inside the spinal column, causing the pinching and narrowing. Ouch. Ouch ouch ouch.
Was that tmi? Sorry.
So, Rick's bone has grown around his spinal cord?
Yes. And around his knee. Around the knee that was replaced. Rick has weird bones. I even told him that. He said I was wrong. I know I'm right, though. I also asked the back surgeon that if he had any extra time during the surgery, if he could open up the knee and remove that bone as well. He said no. Surprise, surprise.
So there you have it. More surgery. Too much bone. And... definitely too many cracks in my house. Had to bring in a professional today.
Wanna know how that turned out?
