Gotta tell you, this didn't happen to me... it happened to my friend Patty. But I'm still laughing at the event. And her wit. And if you know Patty, you'd know that she's a very sharp, in-charge wife and mom who just doesn't let these things happen to her. I'm amazed that it did.

"I went to the mall yesterday and thought I'd look for a pink-toned blush, and since I use Clinique I stopped by their counter at Nordstrom's. Before I knew what was happening, I was sitting on a stool and the sales woman was covering my face with a different foundation than I normally use, along with two types of blusher, powder, highlighter and bronzer. I've got to say, when she was done my face looked very good, but there's no way I could ever duplicate what she did, even though she demonstrated her technique for me several times.
I ended up buying the bronzer and a brush to use with it. She also gave me a sample of the foundation to try at home to see what I thought. She then scheduled me to come back in 2 weeks to let her know how I liked it, and so she could then analyze my skin so she could give me a more in-depth idea of what skin care products, etc. would work best for my skin. I left the store in a daze, not quite sure what just happened.
My skin has been breaking out a lot lately, so I think I will see what she says about what products to use. Maybe it will help, but I can tell you right now, that no matter how hard I try, I'll never be able to make my face look like it did when I left the store yesterday. I will, however, no doubt leave the house looking like Binky the clown when I'm done.
